Chancellor's awards to faculty member, student

Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef on Monday hosted a reception to recognize winners of two annual awards for faculty and student achievement. The event took place at Colleges at LaRue.

The Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research was awarded to Richard Coss, a professor of psychology who teaches research in cognitive and perceptual psychology and research in personality and social psychology

The Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research was given to Marisa Goo, a student majoring in neurobiology, physiology and behavior. Honorable mention awards went to students Kenna Lehmann, Rameshwar Rao, Stephanie Wilcox and Elliot Wong.
